Doncaster residents offered free 10-week computer course for complete beginners

A free 10-session beginner computer course is being offered in Doncaster from Tuesday 22nd September, with Touched By A Guardian Angel saying it is designed for complete beginners and focused on digital inclusion.

The course is open to people of any age, from 18 to 100, and no previous computer experience is needed. Organisers say it is suitable even for those who have never used a computer before.

Laptops will be provided for everyone during the sessions, so attendees do not need to bring their own device. The course will run over 10 weeks, with each session building on the last at a gentle pace.

Participants are being encouraged to ask questions and learn without pressure, with support available throughout. The only requirement is a commitment to attend all 10 weeks, as places are limited.

People who want to take part, or who know someone who might benefit, are being asked to contact Ian as soon as possible.

The group says the sessions will offer a chance to learn in a relaxed setting, with a cuppa and help to build confidence in using a computer and getting online.
