Three Doncaster teens to cycle 200 miles for charity this December
The trio are raising money for a mental health charity.
Tyreese Blinkhorn, Alfie Nixon and Charlie Palmer are taking on a huge charity bike ride this December - they are hoping to ride from the Eco Power Stadium all the way to the Wembley Stadium in London.
That is 200 miles of cycling in the dead of winter.
They hope to complete the ride from December 27 to December 29 and want to raise around £3,000 for Young Minds.
We spoke to Tyresse (aged 17 from Hatfield) about the challenge, he said: “I am doing lots of training before hand, I am doing a bike ride every day until December 27.
“We chose this charity as young people suffer with their mental health and we want to do something to help.

“Young people are the future so we should be protecting their well being.”
Tyreese is an apprentice electrician at the Renard Group - they are sponsoring the bike ride.
The trio say they are enjoying the challenge and having a big goal to work towards.
They are currently looking for local businesses to sponsor them and to donate prizes to a give away they are planning.
“We’re taking on this challenge to raise money for Young Minds, supporting young people struggling with their mental health,” he continued.

“We’re not professional cyclists, just three lads determined to push ourselves and make a difference. Mental health matters, and nobody should have to struggle alone. Every donation and share makes a difference. “
