Announcing the news via social media she wrote: “After many wonderful years and even more wonderful weddings, we have some news to share.

“I’ve decided that it’s time for me to retire and close the shop, and spend some more quality time with my family.

“It's Bliss Bridal has been part of Doncaster for such a long time, and that simply wouldn’t have been possible without all the lovely customers who have supported and recommended us and all the lovely ladies who have been part of the Bliss team over the years.

“Thank you all, you’ve each played a part in making Its Bliss what it is today, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories we’ve shared.

“We want to reassure all of our brides that we’re very much still here for you.

“We’ll be continuing with appointments and looking after you for several more months before we finally close our doors - at this point The Prom Shop will be relocating.

“We have a lot of beautiful wedding dresses that deserve to be worn and loved, and we’d love to help them find their dream bride before we go.

“Watch this space for a sale on a scale we’ve never done before! but for now, from the bottom of my heart…thank you,

“Here’s to all the years of love, laughter, beautiful dresses and wonderful memories — and to the exciting chapter ahead.”
