Doncaster pub fury after hamper to raise football team funds is stolen
The pub has issued a plea over the theft
Upset bosses at a Doncaster pub have hit out at a person who stole a hamper being raffled to raise funds for a children’s football club, describing it as ‘a new low.’
The House Martin on Wheatley Hall Road has revealed details of the incident - and urged the thief to return it.

Announcing the news via social media, a spokesperson wrote: “Looks like someone decided to help themselves to a hamper that WASN'T theirs.
“At 1:15pm on Tuesday 3 November, a hamper being used as a raffle prize to raise funds for Barnby Dun U14 Colts was STOLEN from The House Martin.
“Stealing is bad enough, but stealing from a fundraiser supporting local kids? That's a new low.
“The theft was caught on CCTV. So here's your chance to do the right thing.
