Serial Doncaster thief arrested for breaching criminal behaviour order

A serial thief has been arrested and is back behind bars after breaching his criminal behaviour order.
Joshua Lyne of Thorne was held by officers last week.
A spokesperson for Doncaster East Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “On Tuesday, a male was arrested on suspicion of theft and for breaching his criminal behaviour order in relation to several offences both in South Yorkshire and Humberside.

“Joshua Lyne was charged with seven counts of theft, three counts of breaching his criminal behaviour order, one offence of assault and a further offence of public order.
“Lyne was remanded for court and further remanded until 22nd October 2026.
“Thank you to those members of the SYP Thorne Shop Watch group who assisted with this investigation.”
