The Evri dropbox locker has been installed at Scope's Doncaster store atThorne Road Retail Park allowing customers to send and return parcels while visiting the shop.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment from Evri and Scope to explore innovative ways of supporting local communities while helping to generate vital funds for disabled people and their families.

By bringing parcel services directly into a charity retail setting, the locker provides customers with greater choice and convenience while creating additional opportunities for people to discover the shop, donate pre-loved goods and support Scope's work.

The installation builds on the successful partnership between Evri and Scope, which has already raised more than £250,000 through a range of fundraising and donation initiatives.

Alongside the launch of free donation-by-post services through Evri's network of more than 13,000 ParcelShops and Lockers, the new locker demonstrates how innovative partnerships can create benefits for charities, customers and local communities alike.

Angus Duncan, Shop Manager at Scope charity shop Doncaster, said: “We’re proud to be the first Scope charity shop in the UK to have an Evri locker. It makes things much easier for customers who are dropping off donations or searching for hidden gems, as they can post parcels at the same time without making an extra trip.

“It should also bring new customers into our store at Thorne Road Retail Park. People may come to send or collect a parcel, then stay to browse the great value items we have in store.

“Every pound we raise helps fund our free helpline, where disabled people can get expert guidance and advice. The average call lasts 15 minutes, so quality donations really do make a difference.

“I’d like to thank Evri for helping us raise more donations and bring more people into our Doncaster shop. This is a fantastic opportunity for us.”
