A spokesperson said: “Five warrants executed, two arrests, and disruption caused - just a small part of what our Epworth North Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Policing Team get up to on their patch.

“Over the last week, Neighbourhood Beat Officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), alongside our Scunthorpe Criminal Investigation Department, with the Kinetic Intervention Team in tow with their big red key, five warrants under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act have been executed in the areas of Eastoft Road, Lincoln Close, Axholme Avenue and Windsor Road in Crowle.

“A man and woman were arrested from the address at Eastoft Road on suspicion of possession of class B drugs and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, and have both since been released under investigation.

“Neighbourhood Policing is built upon proactivity, and the team work daily to engage with communities, understand concerns, and gather information to build the bigger picture around offending in the area.

“This then leads to warrants like these, which may not always result in arrests or drug seizures, but it's about more than that.

“They stack up the evidence, disrupt criminal networks, build relationships with communities, and demonstrate that we are listening, and acting on your concerns.

“We encourage anyone who sees their local officers out and about to continue to chat to them - whilst you may not always see immediate action, the information you provide might just be the missing piece of the puzzle piece we need.”
