Crown Bawtry Collection is celebrating after being named a finalist in the Doncaster Business Awards 2026, returning to the prestigious awards for a second consecutive year.

The independent hospitality group, which operates Crown Hotel Bawtry, Bawtry Hall and Rossington Hall, has been shortlisted for Hospitality Business of the Year – a new category introduced to the awards for 2026.

Crown Bawtry Collection delivers everything from hotel stays and dining to weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and exclusive-use experiences.

The group has also continued to invest in its presence in Bawtry, including the addition of five executive one-bedroom apartments to complement its existing accommodation offering.

Charlotte Lister, CSR and Partnerships Manager at Crown Bawtry Collection, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be finalists again, particularly in the new Hospitality Business of the Year category.“

“Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. There are so many people working across Crown Hotel Bawtry, Bawtry Hall and Rossington Hall who make our venues what they are, from the teams our guests see every day to those working behind the scenes.

“Being shortlisted is recognition of that whole team and everything they put into the business.”

Supporting charities and the wider community remains an important part of the collection’s ethos.

One of its biggest community campaigns is All in Pink, the annual breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiative which began in Bawtry and has since expanded into neighbouring towns.

More than £26,000 has been raised for breast cancer charities through the campaign in recent years.

The collection is also supporting the delivery of the Baton of Hope Tour27 in Doncaster.

Charlotte added: “For us, being part of the hospitality industry is also about being part of the community we operate in.

“We have venues, teams and relationships that can bring people together, and wherever we can use those to support charities or important causes, we try to do that.

“Doncaster has a fantastic hospitality sector and we’re proud to be part of it.

“Our venues bring people into the area for weddings, celebrations, business events and leisure stays, but hospitality has a much wider impact too.

“It supports employment, tourism, local suppliers and the wider economy.“
