JCB demonstration event draws crowds to Doncaster health resort
The event took place at the Lake Y health resort
A JCB demonstration day drew crowds to a Doncaster health resort.
Local JCB dealer T.C. Harrison JCB recently hosted a demonstration day called “Beyond the Build” for the brand-new JCB 3CX at Lake Y.
The event, in collaboration with local hire firm Plant-Fit, saw customers and sales representatives invited down to witness the new machine in action, even having the opportunity to test it out for themselves.
Running alongside the demonstration was a padel tournament, food and drink, and a chance to look around the Lake Y wellness retreat.

The event was raising funds for Lighthouse, a construction charity that provides holistic support to the construction community in the UK and Ireland.
Raffle tickets were sold at the event to raise money for the charity, with the top prize being the chance to have a weeklong demonstration of the brand-new JCB 3CX.
The new JCB 3CX Backhoe is one of JCB’s latest machine launches and aims to be an affordable way for businesses to get the best machinery.
The Backhoe has a single fixed high specification, with a price tag from £55,000.
The event was an overall success and was a great opportunity for T.C. Harrison and Plant-Fit to meet with customers face-to-face, demonstrate the new machine, and raise money for the Lighthouse Charity.
Louise Doran, Inside Sales Executive at TC Harrison JCB said: “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the event.
“It was fantastic to receive such positive feedback about the machine and to see so many customers getting involved on the day.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Plant-Fit for their hospitality and for allowing us to use Lake Y, which provided a brilliant setting for the event.
“It was also a pleasure to have the Lighthouse charity involved, helping to raise awareness of the invaluable support they provide to the construction community.”
T.C. Harrison JCB are one of the only privately owned JCB dealerships in the country.
