Woman taken to hospital after crash shuts major Doncaster road

A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash between a lorry and a car which closed a major Doncaster road.
Emergency services were called to Carr House Road in Hyde Park shortly before noon.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “At 11.58am today (Thursday 22 October), officers on a proactive patrol came across a road traffic collision on Carr House Road, in Doncaster.
“It is reported that a large HGV and a grey Citroen C1 were involved in the collision.

“Officers alongside the ambulance service attended and Carr House Road between roundabouts of Bawtry Road and Trafford Way was closed for a short period of time.
“A 34-year-old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”
