Goodysphere is a mobile business run by married couple Caleb and Tabitha Goodison.

The pair, who are both 27 years old, and from Dinnington, set up their sensory bus in October of last year.

The inspiration came from Caleb’s sister who was autistic and had additional needs, sadly she passed away five years ago.

In her memory they created a space she would have enjoyed and are using it to help others on the neurodivergent spectrum.

Caleb told us: “Anya had a lot of complex needs and struggles, she would have loved something like the sensory bus.

“I am autistic myself and seeing other people benefit from the space has been amazing.”

The sensory bus is not just for children, adults are welcome to join in on the fun.

The sensory swing has a weight limit of up to 22 stone and toys inside have no age limit.

Tabitha told us: “The sensory bus is rainforest themed as the colour green helps ground your heartbeat naturally.

“There are so many benefits to having a sensory space, if you are feeling overwhelmed it can help people to feel grounded again.

“It helps people bring their bodies back to a calm state.”

The sensory bus attends large events and gatherings and gives people a space to calm down if it is needed.

Tabitha said: “For people with autism a busy and loud environment can be really overwhelming so if they have a space like this to come to they can regulate then go back out into the event or party.

“We do birthday bookings at homes, public community events and we even have a wedding booked.”

The bus has many different sensory lights, soft flooring, interactive elements and a cosy corner.

Goodysphere has recently been nominated for best mobile business at the UK Small Business Awards.
