Love at first fright: Scare actors wed at Doncaster Halloween park
A spokesperson for the scare park said: “Till death do us part… literally.”
It was a case of “I whoooooo” rather than “I do” as two scare actors had a frightfully good wedding day by tying the knot at a Doncaster Halloween attraction.
Beth and Kris Welbourn decided to get married at Doncaster Fear Factory, ahead of it opening its doors for Halloween once again later this year.
A spokesperson for the attraction, which is based at Thornhurst Manor said: “Who says weddings have to be traditional?
“Amongst the darkness, the screams and the nightmares, something a little more romantic took over Doncaster Fear Factory.
“A seriously unique setting for some unforgettable wedding photos and we absolutely love how these turned out.
“Till death do us part… literally.”
Bride Beth said: “What better place for two scare actors to get married! Thank you for letting bring a little spooky into our special day!”
Earlier this year, the park teased its biggest and boldest attractions yet for its 2026 season.
It will return this October in time for Halloween - with a range of new blood curdling and ghostly goings on for vistors to enjoy -or endure.
One attraction is The Dentist and a spokesperson said: “Our dentist is taking on new patients, unlike yours - and trust us, he’s waiting and ready for you.
“No appointment necessary. No anaesthetic. And absolutely no cancellations.”
Visitors will also be able to check out The Shellton Motel.
The spokesperson said: “Unfortunately for our guests… checking out isn’t quite as easy as checking in.
“The doors reopen this October - will you be brave enough to check in?”
And new for 2026 is The Mortician, described by bosses as the “biggest, boldes, most ambitious attraction yet.”
The spokeperson said: “It is an entirely new experience built for 2026 and unlike anything we’ve created before.
“Bigger sets. Darker environments. More scares. More detail. And nowhere to hide.
“Years of Fear Factory have led to this - The Mortician is waiting.”
