“I feel so proud, so pleased, so excited; I was quite emotional! I didn’t expect it; I am so happy!
“It took me a week to make the hatinator. I make hats like this for friends as a hobby as I love being creative!”
Last year, the honour was won by Jess and Aaron Wilson who now want Linda to follow in their footsteps.
They said: “This year our good friend Linda won best dressed at Doncaster.
“Now she needs your help getting the votes to help her win ‘best dressed Yorkshire.
“We would love Linda to take our crown and win this year. She more than deserves it.”
