Doncaster Choral Society set to deliver weekend show of musical masterpieces
The show will feature works by Britten and Haydn
Doncaster Choral Society is to deliver a concert of musical masterpieces this weekend.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 7 November 2026, from 6.30pm at the historic Doncaster Minster.

The concert will feature two prominent works centered on Saint Nicholas: Joseph Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai and Benjamin Britten’s dramatic cantata St. Nicolas.
The performance will be led by guest conductor Chris Why, with acclaimed tenor Stephen Newlove taking on the challenging title role in Britten's work.
They will be joined by the Boyce Orchestra and an array of talented soloists from the Royal Academy of Music.
