Community to unite for inclusive walk at Doncaster beauty spot

A community is to come together for an all inclusive walk at a Doncaster beauty spot.
The Pit Wood walk showcasing Edlington Pit Wood will take place on Saturday, 26 September.
The event, organised by the Edlington Pit Wood Volunteer Group is a dedicated accessible nature walk designed to welcome all members of the community into the local green space.
It will run from 10am until noon.
Organisers are inviting residents, families, and nature enthusiasts to gather beforehand at the main car park.
The entire route has been explicitly planned as a wheelchair-friendly route, ensuring that individuals with limited mobility, parents with pushchairs, and those using mobility scooters can easily navigate the scenic paths alongside fellow walkers.
Participation is completely free, and no advanced booking is required.
