RACING TIP OF THE DAY

LUCIDA
Newmarket 2,40 WIN
The Group Two Rockfel Stakes has always been an informative contest, and although it has been brought forward two or three weeks this season, Irish handler Jim Bolger continues to target the race with his best juvenile fillies. This daughter of Shamardal ran a blinder when stepped up to Group One company for the Moyglare Stud Stakes last time, giving a fright to the talented Cursory Glance who, along with Tiggy Wiggy, represents the best form around in this division this season. I accept that she might go off a short-priced favourite this afternoon, but she reallhy took the eye with the way she travelled and quickened at The Curragh and I will be surprised if she is not a cut above her rivals. Bolger reports her to be in fine fettle.
YESTERDAY: PRINCE GAGARIN 2ND (4/1)
