Doncaster Rovers man gets international call for brace of friendlies
Sean Grehan is heading off on international duty this week.
The Doncaster Rovers defender is in the Republic of Ireland under-21s squad for their training camp in Zagreb. They'll take on both Croatia and Qatar in friendlies this week.

The Croatia game is on Saturday (June 6) before the Qatar match three days later (Tuesday, June 9). The fixtures precede the final stages of the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign later in the year. Grehan joined Rovers last summer on a permanent deal from Crystal Palace and made 17 league appearances across the 2025-26 campaign.
Rovers manager Grant McCann was gushing with praise for Grehan towards the end of last season, saying: "Sean will just get better and better. I want him to nail that position down now next season, playing there week in, week out, because we think so highly of him."
Grehan isn't the only player on international duty this week. Bayley McCann and Darren Robinson are part of the Northern Ireland under-21s squad that's set to face Portugal in a friendly on Wednesday (June 3).
