Known across the community for his deep and lifelong love for motorbikes, he will be given a striking send-off with his family extending an open invitation to all local riders, issuing a heartfelt plea: "Let’s see how many bikes we can get for him."

The funeral is scheduled for Friday, 6 November, and will assemble outside his home in Edenthorpe.

Motorcyclists wishing to join the escort are asked to gather at the family home in the DN3 2JA area. The pack is scheduled to depart promptly at 2.30pm.

The procession will accompany Mr Davies directly to Barnby Dun Crematorium where the formal funeral service will take place at 3pm.

Following the service, family, friends, and fellow riders will gather to raise a glass and share memories at the Beverly Inn in Edenthorpe.
