Doncaster motorway re-opens following earlier collision
A Doncaster motorway has re-opened following an earlier collision which shut the road and caused traffic jams.
The M18 was closed northbound near to the intersection with the M180 and Doncaster services, with traffic held between junctions four and five, with emergency services at the scene.
Large delays built up in the area and motorists were advised to find alternative routes.
South Yorkshire Police said that the incident was a damage only collision and that no further details about this morning’s incident were available.
