Developer Bellway says sales will soar with Doncaster show home opening
The developer is set for a sales boost this September
House developer Bellway says sales will soar with its September show home opening in Doncaster.

Staff at Bellway Homes’ Simpson Park development in Harworth and Bircotes say the opening of two show homes this weekend (September 19) will see sales rocket.
Interest in the 138-home development has been high ever since Bellway first announced it, and sales began in style back in May - with a flurry of eager visitors looking to make the most of the early bird plots.
Since then, interest has remained high and sales are going well.
Three homes have sold and negotiations are well underway for a number of other plots.
Melanie Smith, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales director, said: “There’s always a lot of interest in the launch of a new development and it’s great when sales start strongly like they have at Simpson Park.
“What we do find though is that once we open a show home and people get the chance to get a real feel for what life would be like on the development then that’s when things really do take off.”
“And given the huge interest here in Harworth and the fact we’re opening two show homes on the same day, we’re all really looking forward to what could well be our busiest and most successful show home opening ever.”
The show homes being opened on Saturday are both four-bedroom detached properties - a Cutler and a Mercer Life. Both are spacious family homes that are in high demand on other Bellway developments around the region.
Being built off Harworth’s Brinsley Way, Bellway’s Simpson Park forms part of the wider Harworth Group’s development of the same name, which when complete will feature up to 1,200-homes, a new school and a family pub.
The homes Bellway’s building will feature a mix of house types from The Bellway Collection, which showcases the best in contemporary home design, while also celebrating the artisan traditions at the heart of its rich heritage.
And, as with all new Bellway homes, the new homes in Harworth and Bircotes will be built to first-rate specifications; including energy saving features and modern specification such as solar PV panels, EV car chargers, under floor heating and the air source heat pumps – all of which help to make a new home more energy efficient.
Prices on the development currently range from £219,995 for a three-bedroom, semi-detached Tailor to £374,995 for a four-bedroom detached Bowyer.
“Simpson Park as a whole is an area invigorating development, which has already started to change the face of the entire town – bringing with it new people, new jobs and new money,” added Melanie. “We’re really enjoying cementing that reputation and creating a whole new, Bellway community within it.”
