Doncaster named among the UK's worst cities for hair in autumn and winter
Doncaster has been named one of the UK's worst cities for maintaining healthy-looking hair, with hard water, pollution and changing weather conditions contributing to its position.

A ranking by Dr Cinik Hair Clinic compared 58 UK cities using six factors, including water hardness, air pollution, negative salon reviews, humidity, wind speed and UV exposure.
Doncaster ranks fourth nationally, recording a hair-unfriendly score of 61.54%.
The South Yorkshire city has hard to very hard water, alongside an air pollution index of 59.5.
Doncaster also records 6.60% negative salon reviews, with a humidity index of 77 and average wind speeds of 14.3 km/h.
Nearby Sheffield ranks 16th, recording a hair-unfriendly score of 53.07%, while Wakefield places 19th at 52.25%.
