Air ambulance scrambled after man is stabbed in Doncaster
The man, in his 40s, was knifed in his chest in a disturbance at a property on Shaftesbury Avenue , Intake, just before 7.15pm yesterday.
He was taken to hospital for treatment while a 30-year-old woman and 52-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
They remained in police custody last night.

Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called shortly before 7.15pm last night to reports of a disturbance at an address in Queensberry Road, Intake.
“On arrival, officers found a man with a suspected stab wound to his chest. The man, in his forties, is currently receiving hospital treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
“A 30-year-old woman, and a 52-year-old man, both from Doncaster were arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Both remain in custody.”
There was another stabbing in Doncaster earlier in the day.
A 30-year-old was found injured when emergency services were called to Hexthorpe Road at 5.55am.

Hide AdThe man was taken to hospital for treatment and was later discharged.
No arrests have yet been made over that attack.
Police cordons were put in place at both crime scenes while enquiries were carried out.
