Police have put out a warning after receiving reports of two men committing burglaries in the borough over the weekend.

A spokesman for the Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team said: “On both occasions they appear to have targeted elderly residents, claiming that they were looking for a lost drone or toy helicopter. While the occupants have been assisting in looking for the item a second offender has gone in to the house and stolen cash and jewellery.”
