Catch new comedy thriller Wolf Country at Cast in Doncaster

Next January, The John Godber Company (Do I Love You, Bouncers) is back with its hit production, Wolf Country — a heartfelt celebration of music, community and belonging with a twist of East Yorkshire folklore.

Country-music mega fan Alice and no-nonsense nurse Eddy are best friends who are happy with things staying exactly as they are. But with a potential werewolf running rampant around Beverley, it doesn’t look like anything will stay the same for long.

Eddy doesn’t care for all the rumours and conspiracies, but Alice is straight down the rabbit hole, especially after meeting self-proclaimed werewolf expert Connor…it’s getting closer and closer to Halloween, the full moon is out…and things are starting spiral…didn't you know East Yorkshire is wolf country?

From the writer of the UK Theatre Award-nominated ‘The Comedy of Errors (More or Less) ', ‘Loves Labours Lost (More or Less)’ and ‘Three Emos’, Elizabeth Godber brings us a brand new comedy about friendship, East Yorkshire and what drives our fears.

All underscored with a toe-tapping Country Western soundtrack, don’t miss this hilarious and poignant new play from The John Godber Company running January 29-30, 2027.
