Former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan announces Doncaster club date
Former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has announced an intimate date at a Doncaster miners’ welfare club.
The singer, who has made several appearances at the city’s Doncaster Music Festival in recent years, will appear at Askern Miners’ Welfare on February 27 next year.
A spokesperson said: “Tom Meighan is coming to Askern!
“We’re bringing a huge night to Askern Miners Welfare and it’s one we’ve been itching to announce. Set your alarms, this one’s going to move quickly.”
Early access tickets go live on Wednesday 17 December at 10am with general sale on Friday 19 December at 10am.
The gig follows an appearance last week by chart stars Reverend and The Makers who performed in front of a packed crowd at the intimate venue.
Meighan first appeared at Askern Music Festival in 2023 and returned to the event last summer when the festival switched to Doncaster’s Eco Power Stadium.
