1. Jordan Ball
12/13 appearances: 2. Having scored on his debut in the EFL Trophy, the young striker was released at the end of that season, having signed pro terms only one year prior. He joined Halifax Town later that year and has been in non-league ever since, apart from a short spell in Sweden. Photo: Andrew Roe
2. Kyle Bennett
12/13 appearances: 38.
The winger remained with Rovers for two more years - making more than 130 appearances in total - before being released. He then joined Portsmouth, making more than 100 appearances, before a 2018 switch to Bristol Rovers, where he remains today. Photo: Steve Uttley
3. Robbie Blake
12/13 appearances: 14. Veteran forward Blake joined Rovers at the start of the season but struggled for regular appearances, particularly in the second half of the season. He was released in March of 2013, a month before Rovers won the league. Rovers were his last club as a professional Photo: Dean Atkins
4. Chris Brown
12/13 appearances: 42. The striker was a stalwart that season and even more so then next as Rovers battled hard to stay in the Championship. His efforts earned him a switch to Blackburn Rovers following relegation. He joined Bury after being released by Blackburn but did not make an appearance.
