Tiago Cukur does well on the right and squares a ball inside the box but it’s cut out as Joe Dodoo attempts to shoot.

Again, Rovers are producing some good stuff in the build up but find themselves two down due to frailties at both ends of the pitch.

Good work again from Jordy Hiwula on the left. He cuts inside and lashes a shot from a tight angle that rattles the bar and goes out for a throw in on the far side.

23. Should have a goal back

Rovers really should have halved the deficit.

Jordy Hiwula was released into acres of space on the left with a wonderful ball over the top from Ben Close.

He weaved his way into the area and squared to Rodrigo Vilca who worked space for a shot but only produced a tame effort from 15 yards that was an easy stop for David Stockdale.

Rovers have had their successes in build-up play but the final execution inside the box has been poor.

A second for the visitors as Adebayo Akinfenwa heads in at the back post.

The former Rovers striker is reluctant to celebrate after powering Ro-Shaun Williams out of the way to head into the far corner.

Wycombe had the run of things down the right flank, with Jason McCarthy whipping in the final ball.

Long, long way back for Rovers.

Jordy Hiwula strikes wide of the front post from the edge of the area after bringing down the ball.

Jason McCarthy nods wide from a free header as Rovers are almost caught out again.

Rovers break from half way really well with Tiago Cukur taking the ball on the wide right. He drills a really good cross into the middle but Rodrigo Vilca scuffs his attempt at a shot and Joe Dodoo is blocked out with the follow up.

Anthony Stewart heads Wycombe in front inside two minutes.

The Chairboys take the leader through a corner. It’s hit towards the back post and Stewart outmuscled Kyle Knoyle to head home.

Really disappointing start for Rovers, conceding a set piece against a side renowned for their ability from dead ball situations.
