'Absolutely superb', 'a throwback' - Doncaster Rovers fans full of praise for new home kit
Doncaster Rovers have released their new home strip for the 2026-27 campaign.
The striking shirt is loosely based on the kit from 20 years ago, when Rovers enjoyed a memorable 2006-07 season as they lifted the EFL Trophy and made the move to their new stadium after leaving Belle Vue.
The new shirt is now on sale and plenty of fans have snapped it up. The shirt boasts crisper red-and-white hoops with a gold trim and a return of red shorts and socks.
Here, we look at what some fans are saying about it....

(C)hristopher @drfc1879 - Nice kit…..missing the collar….i prefer kits with collars.
Shawn Whitehead - Outline bit weird around the badge but good to see Red shorts and socks back.
@PeterDrfc - I think it’d look much better without the black outline round the badge
Ross Walshe - Black outline has killed it a bit for me, other than that i do like it
@CameronMooresey - #drfc that new shirt is the best one post COVID, it’s generation stuff
Adam Gittings - Really like this seasons kit. A throwback to my 1st season supporting Rovers as well
EJ Wilson - Absolutely superb
@Callumlmartin - That shirt is CALLING MY NAME
@MattDRFCshirts - Really happy with these. @oxensportsuk have hit way more than they’ve missed since that first season.
Robert Ghosh - Nice shirt that. Black border round badge is bang on too makes best badge in EFL stand out even more.
@DRFCELIOTT - Wow the nostalgia. One of my favourite shirts that is, 20 years since we moved to Keepmoat wow thats gone quick. Ready to extend the shirt collection
Danny Dickinson - New kit only negative is that black outline other than that they’ve done a good job.
