Video: Car recovered from field after crashing off road near Doncaster
The vehicle had to be recovered from a field
This is the moment a crashed car was recovered after leaving the road, ploughing through a hedge and ending up in a field near Doncaster.
Drone footage shot by local enthusiast Chris Brown captured a telehandler removing the battered vehicle from the field off the A631 between Bawtry and Everton at the weekend.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: Firefighters from Harworth Fire Station attended an incident on Saturday 6 June, following a call at 10.23am on Bawtry Road, Everton.
“One vehicle had left the carriage way and crashed off the road.
“When firefighters arrived, the driver was already out of the car and in the hands of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
“Crews made the vehicle safe by using small tools, isolating the battery.
“We left the scene around 11am.”
It is understood the driver was not seriously injured.
We have asked Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service for further details.
