Spooktacular fun as Doncaster community group hosts Halloween play day
The event attracted people of all ages
A spooktacular Halloween play day brought people of all ages together for a feast of ghoulish goings on.
Town Field Community Group hosted the event, with around 300 visitors from across Doncaster enjoying free activities on Town Field.

The event was the final one in a series of three Town Field Play Days held during 2026, which saw around 800 people attending over the three days.
The Halloween Play Day featured ghoulish games and crafts, bat box painting, pumpkin rolling races, facepainting, lucky dip and a visit from a SY Fire Service fire engine.
The local Health Visiting Team was also on hand to offer early years health advice, fun activities and support and there were free bike repairs available from The Bicycle Buddy.
A highlight of the day was the fancy dress competition, judged by Doncaster Central Labour MP Sally Jameson, local PCSO Imogen, and Shirley Werner, artist and member of the Town Field Community Group, with children showcasing a fantastic range of Halloween costumes.
