Popular Doncaster all you can eat restaurant finally announces re-opening date

Cosmo, in Doncaster’s Frenchgate Centre, has been shut since March and has been unable to re-open because of its self-service nature.

Announcing the news on Facebook, a spokesman said: “We're very excited to announce that Cosmo Doncaster will be opening on Friday 9 October.

"Make sure you book a table to be guaranteed a seat back at your favourite buffet.

“We’ve been working closely with the health authorities to adapt our buffet operation to serve our guests safely and keep everyone COVID safe We’ve got the buffet back open so you can enjoy your 'all you can eat help yourself' experience once again!

“Sadly, we had to temporarily sacrifice our alcohol sales licence to achieve this – but we hope you agree that it’s a price worth paying to allow our guests the full help yourself buffet experience.”
