A silver coloured Ford Fiesta and a black Mercedes Coupe collided head on for reasons not yet established.
The road was closed at Crowle crossroads as emergency services attended.
Two people were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with non-life threatening injuries.
Firefighters made both vehicles safe by disconnecting the batteries.
