One resident said: “It looked like it happened on Grange Lane, right outside the GP practice, and it looked as though it had caused some damage to its fence. The car finished up on a 90 degree angle compared to the road.

"It looked like it had pink wedding bunting on the side, and the air bags appeared to have inflated.

"It is yet another crash along Grange Road – and this is supposed to be an area with a 20mph speed limit.

"I can think of at least three crashes that we have seen on this stretch of road just in the last couple of months, and another one not much further on.

"There are two schools on here – it’s a busy road.”

“On arrival officers found a grey Range Rover Sport on its side having collided with a bush.

“The driver of the car was uninjured.”
