Hide AdLewis, aged 21, from Balby, said: “We are hoping to start a creative collective in Doncaster under the name GSD.
“We both love Doncaster, we grew up here but there is not much of a cultural scene.
“We want to encourage collaboration between artists and be a space for aspiring youth to come to for advice.”
The pair say that they have struggled to find venues to perform in and had few local role models in the music industry to look up to.

Hide AdLewis has loved music from a young age and says his mother is the person responsible for his addiction to rap.
“We’ve both had a lot of time over the last few months to really concentrate on our lyrics.”
The album ‘GSD’ is filled with party soundtracks with a Summer vibe according to the musicians.
David, aged 21 from Cantley, said: “We have a mix of hard rap and fun songs on GSD.
“Songs about love and songs inspired by the lockdown.”

Hide AdDavid wants to help form a creative collective in Doncaster as he experienced first hand the struggle of being a young creative at home.
He said: “There wasn’t anyone there for us when we were in school.
“I had to move away to Manchester to study music and it really lit a fire under us to become those people that young creatives can look up to.”
In the future, the duo wishes to launch their own record label and become successful independent artists in Doncaster.
