He’s Britain’s most feared quizzer – and brave souls can take him on when he comes to Doncaster for a quiz night later this year.

Mark “The Beast” Labbett is one of the stars of the much-loved tea-time quiz programme The Chase which sees members of the public do battle with a string of quiz geniuses in an attempt to win cash.

And on June 20 he will be at Buzz Bingo on Wheatley Hall Road to host an evening of bingo and quizzing, with participants able to meet the 6ft 6in star and take him on across a series of tough questions.

The 60-year-old has been one of the "chasers" on the game show since 2009, lining up alongside fellow chasers Shaun “The Dark Destroyer” Wallace, Anne “The Governess” Hegerty, Paul “The Sinnerman” Sinha, Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan and Darragh “The Menace” Ennis.
