Doncaster darts sensation Beau Greaves seals historic ranking title win
Doncaster's Beau Greaves is becoming accustomed to creating history by now.
On Monday, the Sprotbrough ace became the first woman to win a PDC ranking title after sealing victory at the Players Championship 11 event in Milton Keynes.

She saw off a clutch of seeds, with no less than three former World champions beaten along the way. And to top off her day's work, she sealed the win thanks to a sensational 142 checkout in the final against Michael Smith.
That was enough to ensure a 7-6 win against Smith, and earlier in the contest she even chucked in a 170 finish.
Earlier on, she disposed of Gary Anderson and Rob Cross on a day she'll never forget.
"I never thought I'd win one of these. Never, ever," the 22-year-old said.
"I'm so happy. I can't even describe the way I feel. It's unbelievable and I feel so proud of myself.
"I never thought that I'd come in here today and win this. I know I've got the ability to do so, and I know I've got the talent for it, but to play the players I'm playing... I beat Gary Anderson - I couldn't believe it!
"I don't know what's happening. I'm beating players that I've watched growing up, it's just amazing.
"Aside from winning Lakeside (where she won her three WDF women's titles) this is my best ever achievement, and hopefully I can kick on now and do well on the television. I'm absolutely chuffed!"
Greaves is enjoying a fantastic first year as a tour card holder and hit a nine-darter back in February in Players Championship 6.
Greaves' performances on the ProTour in 2026 currently have her ranked fifth on the order of merit and she is currently on course to appear at the Players Championship Finals next November.
