Doncaster Council blast fly-tippers after SEVEN TONNES of waste dumped next to major road

Doncaster Council has hit out at fly-tippers after a staggering seven t of rubbish were dumped at the side of a major Doncaster road.

The authority has blasted the dumpers after tyres, household waste and gas bottles were deposited alongside Great Yorkshire Way.

On Facebook, a spokesman said: “It may be the season of goodwill...but that doesn't mean we don't get VERY angry when we see something like this!

“This is almost 7 TONNES of waste which had been fly-tipped just off of Great Yorkshire Way and included six gas bottles and ten tyres.

“It was removed the day after it was reported to us and we've now put large blocks in place on all entrances off Great Yorkshire Way to stop it happening again.

“Flytipping costs the UK taxpayer millions every year.

“If you know anything about this incident, or you spot other flytipping in our area, please let us know.”
