Reader's letter: The NHS might be under pressure, but for me its five star
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the outstanding care I recently received after a fall.
From the moment I contacted my GP The Burns Practice in Cantley, I was treated with kindness, efficiency and professionalism. I was given a same day appointment and shortly afterwards admitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
The care I received throughout my journey - from the ambulance service to A & E at Doncaster and onwards to Tickhill Road Hospital was nothing short of exceptional. Every member of staff showed compassion dedication, and skill of the highest standard.
I truly believe that the level of attention and treatment I received is something money simply couldn’t buy, even if I were a millionaire.

While I cannot mention everyone by name, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all involved. You are all truly special people and the work you do is invaluable.
The NHS may be under great pressure, but in my experience, it continues to provide a five-star service. Here in Britain we are incredibly fortunate to have the nhs with such remarkable individuals within it.
Thank you all Sheila P Kenny
