Doncaster woman reaches semi final in global dog competition

Andrea Holgate is passionate about dogs, she owns Molly’s Play Park in Tickhill - a four acre dog park that allows dogs to roam free in a controlled environment.

She has recently got through to the finals of a competition called My Dog, My Inspiration which is hosted by Orbiit.

The winner of the competition wins 25K and a meet and greet with Cesar Milan, a canine professional.

Andrea, from Woodlands, said: “I have dedicated my life to dogs. I chose a different path- never marrying or having children - because my dogs are my family, my purpose and my inspiration.

“They taught me the importance of freedom boundaries, connection and living alongside nature.

“Every penny I have earned has gone back into one dream of owning four acres of land, to create an exclusive sanctuary where families can escape to a place where children and dogs can safely run free reconnect with nature and simply be themselves.

“If I was lucky enough to win I would build an indoor facility to shield my pack and the children from the elements allowing the sanctuary to operate 365 days a year .

“Training with Ceasar would be the ultimate achievement in my life’s work. I want to learn his approach to energy communication and pack leadership then pass it onto families and children who visit.my dogs inspired me to create the space Ceasar can help me build its future .”
