Volunteer police officers stop speeding balaclava clad e-bike riders in Doncaster
The riders fled the scene leaving behind their bikes, phones and house keys.
Three balaclava-clad e-bike riders fled from police special constables after being seen speeding along a footpath in Doncaster last night.
The incident happened when two volunteer police officers in an unmarked car spotted the trio on Gliwice Way, Balby.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police Special Constables said: “In a state of panic two of the riders threw their bikes and ran down the alleyway with the other rider managing to escape on his bike.
“One of the unlucky riders was so shocked to see our officers he even left behind his coat containing a shiny new iPhone, E-cig and his house keys.
“Should the riders wish to come to College Road Police Station and provide their details to claim back the items, our officers will be happy to have a chat.”
