And she has now taken her drive to the seat of power in London, posing outside the famed black door.

Said Judy: “If someone had told me years ago that one day I’d be standing outside 10 Downing Street with my daughter Roxy, I don’t think I’d have believed them!

“Two women from Donny, with our own life stories, brought together by something that means so much to us — fostering, adoption and making a difference to children’s lives.

“But behind this photograph is something even more precious to me: my family.

“When Roxy came into our lives, my three boys, Andy, David and Steven, opened their hearts to their little sister. They welcomed her into our family, and watching the bond between them grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

“Andy, David and Steven, I am so proud of the men you are and the love you’ve shown your sister. You may not realise just how much that has meant to me, but it means the world.

“I am so proud of all four of my children. We are a family, and love has never been about where you came from, but about the place you hold in each other’s hearts.

“My own journey hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve always believed that where you start in life doesn’t have to determine where you end up.

“To stand outside 10 Downing Street with Roxy, helping raise awareness of fostering and adoption and the children who need loving, safe homes, is something I will never take for granted.

“For me, it’s not about the famous doors or the photographs. It’s about the children waiting for families, the foster carers who give so much of themselves, and the difference love, patience and belonging can make.

“And if there’s one thing my family has taught me, it’s that when you open your heart, you can change a life — and sometimes, that life changes yours too.

“From Donny to Downing Street, I never imagined this would be part of our story. And I couldn’t be prouder to be sharing it with Roxy and my boys.”

Since appearing on The Traitors at the beginning of the year, both Judy and Roxy have been working hard to highlight the challenges faced by children in the care system who are some of the most vulnerable in society based on their own experience.

Judy adopted Roxy when she was just two years of age and has worked in Children’s Service and Foster Care in Doncaster for the past 23 years.

They are both now ambassadors for Adoption UK and The Fostering Network. At the beginning of the year, they also helped launch the central government campaign to encourage people to adopt with Minister for Children and Families, Josh MacAlister.

The child liaison officer, 60, was the first person to be voted out of her series after a tense roundtable that saw her reveal herself as a Faithful.

Roxy, 32, who gave birth to her first child. earlier this year, praised Judy for adopting her and said: 'I have been the luckiest person and blessed, I absolutely couldn't have asked for anything better in my life.'

“Having a role model who mothered me and changed my life, the course of my life, everything about it.

The mother-daughter duo cemented themselves as fan-favourites after delivering one of the first twists of the new season – that they were, in fact, related, and keeping it a secret from everyone else in the castle.
