The survival based series imagines if civilization as we know it came to an end
Producers of a new apocalyptic new TV show which see contestants facing a nightmare “end of the world” scenario are seeking Doncaster people to star in a new series.
The first series of urban survival show Apocalypse is due to begin airing on Channel 4 later this month - and the search is already on for people to take part in a second series.
The show is a survival-based series which imagines what might happen if civilization as we know it came to an end.
If you were stripped of light, power, water and heat, what would you do?
The series will examine what we would do when pushed to the edge of existence.
The show is produced by The Garden, best known for making shows like ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’, ‘24 Hours in A&E’ and ‘24 Hours in Police Custody’. To find out more about the company you can go to www.thegarden.tv.
A spokesperson said: We are looking for a cross section of ordinary British people who must survive and thrive for 28 days without any of the comforts of the 21st century.
No previous survival experience is necessary – just ingenuity, resilience and courage.
