A Doncaster curry house has been named one of the best in Britain after picking up a prestigious restaurant of the year award.

Nur in Edlington was presented with the Editor’s Choice Restaurant of the Year at the Northern England Curry Awards 2026, held in Huddersfield.

A restaurant spokesperson said: “We still can’t quite believe it.
