Doncaster care home's pink cakes boost breast cancer funds
The event raised more than £800
A cake sale at a Doncaster care home has helped boost funds for a breast cancer charity.
Staff at Clemence Rogers Home Care raised £801 for Breast Cancer Now with the sale and raffle at Armstrong House in Auckley.

The team swapped their usual uniforms for pink T-shirts and filled the Armstrong House foyer with home-baked cupcakes, muffins, cookies and cakes, alongside a raffle of hampers and gifts.
Colleagues, visitors and neighbouring businesses in the building turned out in force to buy a treat, buy a ticket and show their support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The stall was run by Aimee, Wendy, Gary, Katie and Karen, who organised the raffle prizes and staffed the table throughout the day.
Gary flew the flag for awareness that breast cancer affects men too, in a pink and blue T-shirt alongside his colleagues.

Every penny of the £801 goes to Breast Cancer Now, the UK charity steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care.
Aimee, of Clemence Rogers Home Care, said: “We’re overwhelmed by how generous everyone at Armstrong House was.
“Caring for people is what we do every day, so supporting a charity that funds research and gives life-changing care to people affected by breast cancer felt like a natural fit. A huge thank you to everyone who bought a cake or bought a raffle ticket. £801 is a fantastic result.”
