Sheffield judges sentenced them to a total of 259 years and seven months behind bars between them.
Some of these defendants acknowledged their wrongdoing through guilty pleas, and accordingly, got time off the length of their prison sentence.
Others sought to deny their crimes, and were convicted at the conclusion of their Sheffield Crown Court trials.
The shortest sentence passed down to the sex offenders included in this list is one of 34 months, while the longest sentence currently being served by these offenders is one of 20 years.
After serving their sentences, a number of these offenders will remain on the sex offenders’ register for a set period of time.

9. Jake Kitching: Jailed for 12 years
Members of the public gallery burst into tears at Sheffield Crown Court on September 29, 2025, as the details of Jake Kitching's offending were recounted. Gordon Stables, prosecuting, presented evidence to the court detailing how 31-year-old Kitching initially raped his victim and then told the girl not to tell anyone what had happened, which she understood to be a threat. The court heard how the child didn’t know whether that meant ‘having her phone taken off her, being hurt or being killed’. Kitching attempted to rape the girl again only a few days later and a month after that. The prosector told the court that threats and money were used to keep the youngster quiet. The offences came to light in April. Kitching pleaded guilty to four counts of rape of a girl under 13 and one of attempted rape of a girl under 13, as well as two counts of assault. | SYP

10. Wilson Tut: Six years' imprisonment
On October 10, 2024, Wilson Tut raped and strangled an 18-year-old woman. The victim reported the crime to police, who swiftly arrested 27-year-old Tut on suspicion of rape only three days later. He protested his innocence and stood trial. His victim - who is lifelong anonymity - had to endure a trial, where she bravely testified against him, providing evidence of his violent crimes. Due to her compelling testimony at trial, the jury saw through Tut’s lies and he was found guilty of both offences at Sheffield Crown Court on August 13. On Wednesday, October 22, at the same court, Tut was sentenced to six years imprisonment, and was required to register with police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act. | SYP

11. Luke Pryor: Jailed for three years
Luke Pryor is now back behind bars after an online “vigilante” paedophile hunter group behind the Facebook profile of a 14-year-old “girl” helped to expose his continued sexual interest in young girls. In a communication initiated by Pryor in October 2025 after he sent a friend request, Pryor sent naked pictures of himself to the profile, which used the name “Emily.” Pryor also sent videos showing him committing a lewd act, and made repeated requests for her to respond in kind and send pictures of herself wearing “less and less clothing,” Sheffield Crown Court heard during hearings held on November 26 and 27, 2025. Sending Pryor to begin a three-year prison sentence, Judge Peter Hampton told him: “Mr Pryor, I have to conclude that you are a determined sex offender that seeks out children to satisfy your own perverted sexual desires. “Previous sentences have not managed to abate your offending, your behaviour, your decision to ignore court orders in pursuing these offences.” In addition to three years’ imprisonment, Pryor was also made the subject of a 20-year sexual harm prevention order, and was told he must remain on the sex offenders’ register for life. | SYP

12. Neil Hamilton: Sex offender jailed for seven years
A man who was preyed upon by a sex offender while in an intoxicated state has detailed the destructive spiral of self-sabotage the sex attack has sent him on. Neil Hamilton sought to deny responsibility for the sexual assault, but jurors found him guilty of one count of assault by penetration at the conclusion of his Sheffield Crown Court trial. In a statement read during Hamilton’s sentencing hearing, the man he targeted said: “After the incident I stopped eating, and didn’t think life was worth living.” “I’ve been trying to regain some sense of masculinity,” the complainant said. He described how the attack, which occurred on January 27, 2025, resulted in him “spiralling into using drugs” over the course of a 10-week period, and was sent back to that dark place during the course of Hamilton’s trial. The complainant added: “Neil will be released from prison one day, however I will have to live with this for the rest of my life.” A hearing held on June 10, 2025 heard how the complainant was heavily intoxicated when Hamilton, aged 58, assaulted him. Sending Hamilton to begin a seven-year prison sentence, Judge Rachael Harrison told him: “Having heard the evidence, I’m sure that you waited until he was in that state before you sexually assaulted him, while he was face down.” | SYP
