Hajra Akbar is an apprentice journalist at The Star, Sheffield. She began her apprenticeship in September 2021 after an accountancy apprenticeship. As an apprentice, she is currently training for her NCTJ diploma whilst also working at The Star. Hajra is interested in writing, video games and is also an enthusiastic horror fan. Hajra loves exploring the city and places on the outskirts of Sheffield and often spends her weekend sightseeing.
