‘Brilliant’ Beau Greaves will break into top 16 soon, claims PDC champion Jonny Clayton
Beau Greaves has been tipped to have an even bigger impact in darts in the years to come
Doncaster’s Beau Greaves has been backed to break into the Darts Top 16 by World No.5 Jonny Clayton.
Greaves, who hails from Sprotborough, has already made a huge impact on the sport in a short space of time. The 21-year-old is a three-time women's world champion, having won three consecutive WDF World Darts Championship titles.

While she also became the first woman to win a match on the European Tour earlier this year by notably defeating Daryl Gurney, a two-time World Championship quarter-finalist.
Greaves currently sits at world number 75 in the PDC Order of Merit, heading into this year’s World Championship, but Clayton thinks it's only a matter of time before she ascends up the ranks.
Clayton, who was the Premier League darts champion in 2021, said via AskGamblers: “I think Beau Greaves is just a matter of time. Eventually she's going to fly up those rankings. She's absolutely brilliant.
“I've only played against Beau twice. Hopefully, I don't play against her again unless it's the Worlds final. But you've got to give credit when it's due. She is fantastic.
“She's just come into the world of darts, as in on the ProTour, and she just fits in. She plays really well, she's hitting hundred averages as if it's just another day. It’s as if she’s saying, ‘I'll just throw a hundred average, I'll just show these boys what we can do’.
“I've only played against her twice and she battered me the second time, and it was as if she was the world No. 5, not me. To be fair to Beau, she's brilliant. She’s a great girl, and it's nice to have her on tour.”
