Joe Ironside’s header gave Doncaster a deserved lead on the stroke of half time after a dominant first-half display against a Premier League outfit.
But Everton responded after the break and late goals from Beto and Arnaut Danjuma saved their blushes.
Here’s how we rated the Doncaster players.
9. Zain Westbrooke - 8
An all-round excellent display. A real neat and tidy player when he's on form. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
10. George Broadbent - 8
Showed a different side to his game defending deep. Looked to get Doncaster on the attack with some nice passes. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX LTD
11. Mo Faal - 7
Caused Everton problems with his dribbling in the first half in particular. Saw a goalbound effort blocked just after the break. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
12. Joe Ironside - 8
An old-school number 9s performance. His best display for Doncaster yet and an excellent header for the goal, which may or may not have been offside. Photo: Gareth Williams/AHPIX LTD
