Joe Ironside’s header gave Doncaster a deserved lead on the stroke of half time after a dominant first-half display against a Premier League outfit.
But Everton responded after the break and late goals from Beto and Arnaut Danjuma saved their blushes.
Here’s how we rated the Doncaster players.
5. Jack Senior - 8
A superb defensive display on the whole. Didn't stop running. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
6. Owen Bailey - 8
Helped limit Everton to very little for large spells on the right of a back three. His versatility is commendable and doesn't seem to affect his performance levels. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
7. James Maxwell - 8
Sound defensively and just as good in attack. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
8. Tommy Rowe - 8
Another excellent performer and unlucky not to score. Photo: Howard Roe/AHPIX LTD
