9. James Coppinger 5
A tricky prospect for the opposition during Rovers’ strong start to the game, he was muscled out of game as Portsmouth grew into things. He struggled to find good positions high up the pitch before being withdrawn. Photo: AHPIX
10. Reece James 8
Grabbed a great goal and probably could have had a couple more as he operated in an advanced midfield role. A real attacking threat for Rovers throughout the game, whether hugging the touchline or playing further inside. He linked up well with other players around him. Photo: AHPIX
11. Fejiri Okenabirhie 6
Battled well but saw little of the ball throughout the game. He was denied clear cut chances but crafted his own opportunities on a few occasions, mainly outside the box. It was a more confident performance than we have seen so far this season. Photo: AHPIX
12. Josh Sims 6
Did not get on the ball as much as he would have liked from the bench but played a vital part in the winning goal, which typified what he was trying to do. He found space well and pushed forward when in possession. Photo: Doncaster Rovers FC
